Grace Potter’s Grand Point North festival returned to Burlington’s Waterfront Park over the weekend. Potter not only performs with her own group but typically collaborates with some of the other artists as well during the event. This year was no different.

On Saturday prior to her own set, Potter appeared with a couple of the openers. First, she took the stage with Maggie Rose for “Poison in My Well” and “Red Shoes.”  Later, she appeared with Jackson Browne on “Take It Easy.” Then, during her band’s performance, Potter invited Maggie Rose and Tessa Gordon to join her in tribute to Dolly Parton for a version of “9 to 5.” She later closed things out with a cover of Warren Zevon’s “Lawyers, Guns and Money” that featured Browne.

While Potter’s group didn’t appear on Sunday, she also made a couple guest appearances. In the late afternoon she covered Kris Kristofferson’s “Me and Bobby McGee” with Dogs in a Pile. Later on, she joined Dark Star Orchestra for their “Ripple” encore.
