As acts like Khrangbin and Eric Clapton are getting into the holiday spirit, Jim James recently shared his own version of “Oh My Christmas Tree” on Spotify. “Everyone knows that sometimes the holidays can be tough. for years now i have found comfort in this song, originally written and performed by one of my favorite songwriters- @scottmcmicken from@drdogmusic,” the My Morning Jacket frontman posted on Instagram. “Since i love to sing along to it on repeat so much every holiday season well i figured i’d try out my own version too. hope you enjoy and happy holidays.”

James is currently on tour supporting his most recent solo LP Uniform Clarity. He also just announced an intimate London performance, where he will be “exploring some songs stripped down; just voice and guitar.” Tickets are on sale now.
