Tedeschi Trucks Band brought their annual Beacon Theatre residency to a close on Saturday night, welcoming longtime friend Warren Haynes to the stage for a performance of “Done Somebody Wrong,” “Walk On Gilded Splinters” and “I Want More.”

The 11-piece rock and soul outfit opened their two-set offering with a cover of Sly & The Family Stone’s “Are You Ready” which bled into the title title track of TTB’s 2013 LP Made Up Mind.

“Do I Look Worried,” “Part of Me” and “Until You Remember” followed, before the band closed the first half with another Made Up Mind cut “Idle Wind.”

Set two kicked off with “Let Me Get By,” but the fun really began when Gov’t Mule frontman and former Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes jumped onstage. Haynes added the sound of his Les Paul to Elmore James’ “Done Somebody Wrong” and Dr. John’s “I Walk on Gilded Splinters.” The collective then dug into TTB’s “I Want More,” before closing their six-night run with the Allman Brothers’ “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” a perfect nod to the venue and the band’s long history with the legendary southern rock outfit.

“Thank you all for another magical year on this special stage!” Tedeschi Trucks Band wrote on their Twitter. Thankfully, this will not be their last Beacon residency, as TTB recently inked a deal to play the venue for six nights annually until 2022.
