St. Paul & The Broken Bones are currently on tour in support of their new album Young Sick Camellia, and today the soul-infused outfit from Alabama stopped by CBS This Morning for a taping of their “Saturday Sessions” series.

The group ran through three tunes from the new record, including “Apollo” and “Got It Bad,” both of which display Young Sick Camellia‘s leaning toward funk and disco to go with St. Paul’s throwback soul flair. As always, the horn-fueled band was led by frontman Paul Janeway’s powerhouse vocals, and the CBS performance also included the more subdued, languid Camellia cut “Bruised Fruit.”
