Wilco will take to The Tonight Show stage tonight for three songs, according to Tonight Show music booker Jonathan Cohen. While all three may not appear on the broadcast, those that don’t will be made available through the show’s website. Cohen says that the band will play two vintage rarities (they are readying the release of a B-sides box set) as well as an acoustic version of a classic tune. On this tour, Wilco has closed their shows by performing unplugged versions of their songs.

Also tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Roots will welcome out Herbie Hancock during the show. Hancock, who was recently honored during “A Great Night in Harlem” at the Apollo Theater (where The Roots’ Questlove was a speaker), will join the likes of Ace Frehley and John Oates as guest musicians to join the house band.
