Phish have confirmed their annual New Year’s run. The Vermont Quartet will return to New York’s Madison Square Garden from December 30-January 2, the first time they have closed a New Year’s run in January since 2016. Of note, the January 2 performance will be Phish’s highly anticipated 100th show at MSG.

This summer, the group counted down to the milestone performance by nodding to their setlists, theatrics and clothing styles from 1992-1996 during their 92-96th MSG plays. The run led to several song revivals and the return of Trey Anastasio’s mini-drum kit, which he has continued to employ. Billy Joel is the only other rock act to play the Garden over 100 times.

In conjunction with this announcement, the band has created a new video celebrating the longtime Madison Square Garden employees who have been part of the experience. It reflects the ushers, bartenders, concession and merchandise staff and other folks who have on hand to support and participate in the band’s shows at the facility.

A ticket request period is currently underway at tickets.phish.com and ends Monday, October 12th at Noon ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, October 16 at Noon ET. A limited number of travel packages (hotel + tickets) will go on sale Thursday, October 8 at Noon ET at https://phishnye.100xhospitality.com/.
