Berkeley, CA radio station KPFA will continue their annual Grateful Dead fund-raising marathon on Saturday, February 4 from 9 am to 1 am PST. Hosted by David Gans since 1986, the fund-raiser will feature lots of rare recordings from the archive, Bonnie Simmons’ January 1976 KSAN interview with Jerry Garcia (as well as some unreleased Jerry Garcia material), a live performance by the David Nelson Band all the way from Hawaii, and more to be announced. The marathon will be broadcast live on 94.1 FM in Berkeley, CA and also streamed at kpfa.org, Dead.net, gdradio.net, and nugs.net. The station is also auctioning photos and other memorabilia in advance of the marathon. Check here to see the items available.

Last year, Gans said about the marathon:
