Tom Hamilton’s American Babies will perform at New York’s Mercury Lounge on April 29. A number of the group’s former members and regular contributors will sit in at various points throughout the night, including such notable players as drummer Joe Russo (The Duo/Furthur), bassist Dave Dreiwitz (Ween), keyboardist Aron Magner (Disco Biscuits), drummer Eric Slick (Dr. Dog) and guitarist Scott Metzger (RANA). American Babies will release its second studio album Flawed Logic on April 19. The band will open for Jesse Malin at East Vienna, VA’s Jammin’ Java on March 10.
