The 57th installment of the Oregon Country Fair closed out on Sunday in Veneta, OR. The climatic final performance was billed as the All-Star Celebration of Bob Weir. The core roster featured Steve Kimock and Dan Lebowitz on guitars, Pete Sears on bass, Jason Crosby on keys, Dave Ellis on sax and Kanika Moore on vocals.

The opening set kicked off with “Jack Straw,” which featured Lebowitz and Moore trading verses. The two singers also later shared vocal duties on an extended version of “Cassidy” that was a highlight of the initial frame, as it segued into a powerful “The Other One” then back into “Cassidy.” Moore also delivered a memorable lead on “Fever” which preceded a set-closing “Music Never Stopped” with Alex Koford adding his voice as well.

Set two opened with a run from “Playing in the Band” into “Only A River” from Weir’s 2016 album Blue Mountain, which Lebowitz sang and then back into “Playing.” Jordan Feinstein then stepped out and added keys to “Samson and Delilah.” A bit later Moore sang a memorable “Looks Like Rain” before Lebowitz and Katie Skene joined in for a celebratory set-closing “Sugar Magnolia.” The encore was a fitting “Not Fade Away” with all hands on deck.
