The promoters of Colorado’s Mile High Music Festival have announced that the event will not return in 2011. Economic factors have been cited as the cause. Still, Chuck Morris, President and CEO of AEG Live Rocky Mountain Region, states, “We are really proud of the event, and we’re not ruling out the possibility of bringing it back in the future.” Over the past three years the event has drawn in such acts as Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tool, and Jack Johnson to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO.
