Congratulations are in order for Frankie Accardi-Peri, owner of ticketing company GDTS TOO and former manager of GDTS (Grateful Dead Ticket
Services), who was honored by the International Ticketing Association (INTIX), the premiere trade organization for entertainment ticketing professionals. At the association’s annual conference last week, Frankie was awarded the Patricia G. Spira Lifetime Achievement Award for her years of service to
Deadheads and the Grateful Dead community. The award is given annually to a ticketing professional with a minimum of 20 years experience in the industry who has “made a major contribution to the ticketing industry by helping to set standards of excellence in all aspects of ticket management.” Frankie was credited with creating the standard by which all future fan club ticketing would be judged, as well as providing personal customer service to generations of Dead fans across the globe. In accepting the award, Frankie thanked her staff, the band members, and “most of all, the Deadheads, who have my heart.”
