Last night, Mark Guilianas THING played a free show at New Yorks Rockwood Music Hall. The avant-garde jazz trio features Guiliana on drums, Jason Fraticelli on bass and Aaron Dugan on guitar. The later musician has been Matisyahus lead guitarist since his days at the New School and, partway through Guilianas show, the Hassidic-reggae took the stage for a short vocal improvisation. Matisyahu also beatboxed for a few minutes before returning to the audience to watch the remainder of the groups performance. Matisyahu will kick off his next tour at Sydneys The Metro Theatre on August 12.
