Wilco celebrated Independence Day a night early with a July 3 performance at Morrison, COs red Rocks Amphitheatre. Austin indie rockers Okkervil River opened the night and, during Wilcos encore, members of the group emerged to play on California Stars. The classic Wilco song is based off a series of lost Woody Guthrie lyrics and first appeared on the groups collaborative album with Billy Bragg, Mermaid Avenue. Wilco will appear at Wilmington, DEs Frawley Stadium tomorrow.
