The Oklahoma State Senate has announced that the Flaming Lips’ ‘Do You Realize??’ is now the state’s official rock song. ‘Do You Realize??’ which appears on Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots was chosen by an online vote from from among 10 finalists. Other nominated compositions included ‘Heartbreak Hotel,’ ‘After Midnight’ and ‘Never Been to Spain.’ The full list of finalists can be found at the voting site.
