Guitarist Doug Pettibone has opted to leave Lucinda Williams’ band Buick 6. Pettibone, whose disc The West Gate came out last year is currently touring with Ray LaMontagne. Joining Williams on her upcoming tour will be Eric Schermerhorn (Iggy Pop, The The). Schermerhorn will be hand in Austin on February 19 when Williams opens her next series of shows, while Ray LaMontagne’s group currently is traveling through Europe.
