Yesterday, we reported that once-and-possibly future Phish drummer Jon Fishman will play a few shows with Yonder Mountain String Band this fall. In addition, Fish will make some festival appearances with the Everyone Orchestra. After playing two shows with Yonder, Fishman will travel to Asheville, NC for the Loki Music Festival, which will take place from October 10-12 featuring The Roots, Toots and the Maytals, Porter-Batiste-Stoltz, Col. Bruce & The Quark Alliance and Toubab Krewe, among others. A few weeks later, the drummer will head down to Live Oak, FL for the Bear Creek Music and Arts Festival, which is scheduled to take place from November 14-16.Other performers scheduled to appear at Bear Creek include Yonder Mountain String Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Soulive, Lettuce, The Motet, The New Mastersounds, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Tim Reynolds, among others.
