Shortly after midnight, Mike Gordon began his birthday on stage in Burlington, Vermont. Gordon, who is celebrating his 43rd birthday today (June 3), was at Higher Ground in Burlington taking in a Dark Star Orchestra show. During DSOs encore, Kevin Rosen handed over his bass and Gordon dug in for the version of U.S. Blues that closed out the show. Dark Star Orchestra returns to Higher Ground this evening.
