Longtime friend of the site Peter Shapiro has announced his latest venture. Shapiro, who recently produced the U2 3D film and also is the force behind the forthcoming Brooklyn Bowl venue, will unify two of his passions by renaming the concert/bowling facility ‘Brooklyn Bowl 3D.’ Shapiro explains, Brooklyn Bowl 3D will take both bowling and live music to a whole new level by presenting them in a full 3D environment. When asked whether most sentient beings already possess the sensory apparatus required to experience bowling and live music in three dimensions, Shapiro responded, Hmm, that may be true. But not everyone gets to wear those cool glasses.
