Jamie Masefield is gearing up Jazz Mandolin Project for another few shows later this month. For these gigs he will be joined by Peter Apfelbaum on keys and woodwinds, Michael O’Brien on upright bass and Sean Dixon on drums. The Friday March 28 gig will take place in the standard concert context at The Iron Horse in Northampton MA. The on Saturday the 9th the group will deliver its multi-media performance ‘How Much Land Does a Man Need?’ based on the Tolstoy short story. Looking ahead the band also has gigs on the docket for July and October with additional performances likely to be added as well.
