Marco Benevento is currently on the road with Reed Mathis (JFJO, Tea Leaf Green) and
Andrew Barr (The Slip) in support of his new album, Invisible Baby. On Saturday the trio closed out the current leg of their brief run with an appearance at Philadelphias World Cafive. In addition to running through most of Invisible Baby, Benevento also offered an eclectic mix of covers, including a beautiful version of Carly Simon’s Nobody Does It Better and Pink Floyds Fearless, the latter of which found local hero Marc Brownstein subbing for Mathis.
Benevento will be back on the road this Thursday for a Duo performance at Rochester, NYs Water Street Music Hall, while Brownstein will perform with the Disco Biscuits at Sayerville, NJs Starland Ballroom. The Disco Biscuits have also confirmed a handful of new dates, including appearances in South Burlington, VT (4/2-3), Providence, RI (4/4) and Worchester, MA (4/5). For more on Mathis, please read our recent site interview. Additional reporting by Michael Duva.
