With 2008 already on track to be the most competitive festival season ever, Virginias FloydFest has also nailed down its initial artist lineup. The events theme remains family and will feature performances by The David Grisman Quintet, Donna The Buffalo, Avett Brothers, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Jamie Mclean, Blueground Undergrass, New Monsoon, Tony Trischka and Double Banjo Bluegrass, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Laura Reed & Deep Pocket, DJ Williams Projekt, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Gokh-Bi System, and current New Groove of the Month BuzzUniverse. The veteran festival will take place from July 24-26 and discounted tickets are already available.
