Longtime Spin Doctors frontman Chris Barron has started to make the rounds with a new project. Chris Barron & The Time Bandits also features Phil Cimino on drums, Jon Loyd on piano, Tim Givens on upright bass and Lance Doss on lap steel guitar and mandolin. The group will cross the nation over the coming month with gigs in New England, the Southeast and then the West Coast. Next up for the band is a performance this coming Thursday at the Middle East in Cambridge MA. Meanwhile the Spin Doctors remain in motion, as the band just performed dates in Alabama and Mississippi.
