A few months ago, we reported that the North Mississippi Allstars had recorded music for three upcoming films: Hood of Horrors (produced by Snoop Dogg), Black Snake Moan (from Hustle and Flow writer/director Craig Brewer) and Barnyard (Paramount Pictures). Taking a cue form the Slips playbook, the Allstars have also contributed a few tracks to _Barnyard_s PS2 video game counterpart. The Allstars will perform August 11 at Jackson, MSs Hal & Mal’s, while
Barnyard opens in theaters Friday.
