Late in the first set, Umphrey’s welcomed four members of the Vermont Youth Orchestra to the stage to appear on a version of Great American. Later, at the beginning of set two, the band brought out two collaborators with Phish connections. First up, Dave ‘The Truth’ Grippo (Giant Country Horns, Trey Anastasio Band) appeared on sax for Der Bluten Kat then current 70 Volt Parade and TAB member Jen Hartswick joined in on Bullhead City. This evening, Umphreys travels to New York City for a show at the Nokia Theatre (which was just designated the Best New Major Concert Venue at the Pollstar industry awards).
