Voting for the Fourth Annual Jammys will (finally!) begin next week. The announcement of the nominees for Performance, Tour, Studio Album, Live Album, Song, New Groove and Album Art is earmarked for Tuesday at Jammys.com. Starting this year, the nominations will look back on the preceding calendar year (rather than June to June) with qualifying performances and releases, falling from January 1 – December 31, 2003. As for the Jammys show itself, details regarding the date and location will soon follow (for a bit more on the history of the Jammys, read site editor/event co-founder Dean Budnicks essay An Award, A Show but Not Necessarily An Award Show: The Anatomy of a Jammy excerpted from the recent Jambands book).
