Guitarist Johnny Trama (Rockett Band, Moon Boot Lover) has assembled a new band, which will tour this fall as Peter Prince & The Trauma Unit. The group includes guitarist and vocalist Peter Prince (Moon Boot Lover), drummer Eric Kalb (Deep Banana Blackout), bassist Gray Wicks (Rockett Band), keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft (Jiggle) and trombonist Brian Thomas (John Brown’s Body). Drummer Joe Russo (Fat Mama, Electron) will also perform with the band at a few shows. Initial dates include October 17 at Savannah’s in Albany, NY, October 18 at Harper’s Ferry in Allston, MA, October 25 at Lions Den in New York City and October 26 at Tammany Hall in Worcester, MA. More dates will be announced soon, likely in December when Prince wraps up his East Coast tour with Tim Reynolds. Peter and Johnny have also been writing songs together and recording and album that will feature many of the Trauma Unit players, although a release date has not yet been
set.
