Charlie Hunter and his touring band as well as DJ Logic sat in with Addison Groove Project Saturday at Higher Ground in Winooski, VT. Hunter (guitar), John Ellis (tenor saxophone), Curtis Fowlkes (trombone), Gregoire Maret (harmonica) and Logic (turntables) took the stage with Addison for Mahjong towards the beginning of the set. Drummer Donald Edwards then joined the band and guests for an extended version of Windjammer. DJ Logic returned later in the set for several songs including Beantown and Juniper.
AGP alto saxophonist Dave Adams sat in with opening act John Brown’s Body on ‘The Original.’
