Members of Barenaked Ladies sat in with Raq (formerly Shadraq) Saturday night at Tommy Joe’s in Bethesda, MD. Keyboardist Kevin Hearn, guitarist Ed Robertson, and drummer Tyler Stewart joined the band in the first set for Cheap Sunglasses. They then returned for three Barenaked Ladies originals in the second set: Brian Wilson, Its All Been Done and One Week. They also added impromptu lyrics to Raqs Bowl Position towards the end of the show.
Raq plays December 21 at the Knitting Factory in New York City. For more dates, visit www.shadraq.com.
