A new documentary on The Doors’ frontman Jim Morrison is currently in production. Before The End: Jim Morrison Comes Of Age will explore the singer’s early years. Deadline.com reports that the film will feature interviews with Morrison’s friends and family, as well as previously unreleased home movies and photos. The enigmatic singer—who died of an overdose in July of 1971—has been the subject of various documentaries, though few of them have dealt extensively with his youth. No release date has been set for the new film.
