Furthur/Duo drummer Joe Russo is recording with Superhuman Happiness. The drummer offered a glimpse into the recording session with Instagram yesterday. The band is led by Antibalas saxophonist Stuart Bogie, who will also tour with Arcade Fire in 2014. Both Russo and Superhuman Happiness performed at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday as part of the annual Freaks Ball event. Superhuman Happiness used the opportunity to reveal a new lineup and a more electronic and keyboard-based sound.
