Live From Here, the weekly live music and variety show hosted by Chris Thile, will return for its fourth season (after changing its name from A Prairie Home Companion) Sept. 7, kicking off a new era for the show, which has also announced its move to a new home at New York City’s Town Hall.

“Next season, our public radio listeners and live-stream viewers will get the best and broadest selection of music and musicians we can possibly present,” Thile says in a press release, “and they can also expect an expanded range of spoken word content, including poetry, literature, comedy and storytelling.”

Previously based in St. Paul, MN, with its producers at American Public Media, Life From Here will move its creative and production teams to NYC for the new season.

“This is a great move for us as it puts us in the heart of the one of the great hubs of our industry,” adds Jeffy Hnilicka Live from Here‘s managing director. “It means an even better experience for our audiences with more world-class guests, more variety and live streaming at every show. To have Broadway performers walk across the street between their matinee and evening performances to join Chris on stage for Live from Here doesn’t happen anywhere else.”

Live From Here will also tour this summer and is planning on more shows outside NYC. The show will take place at Town Hall Sept. 7, 14 and 28; Oct. 12 and 26; Nov. 2, 16 and 23; and Dec. 7 and 14.
