Just after wrapping the spring leg of their 35th anniversary tour, moe. have announced yet another addition to their sprawling live itinerary. This fall, the storied jam ensemble will join forces with progressive bluegrass giants The Infamous Stringdusters for a two-night Halloween stand at The Joy Theater in New Orleans. Tickets for the special co-headline engagements will be available first through an artist presale on May 8 at 10 a.m. CT with code MOEDUST. A general on-sale will follow on Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. CT.

As it happens, moe. spent last week in the Crescent City, where they closed out their sprint along the East Coast with a finale at the esteemed Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts on April 29 as part of Daze Between Festival. Then, on Thursday, May 1, longstanding bandmates Rob Derhak, Al Schneir and Vinnie Amico linked up with a 13-strong supergroup of jam icons for “A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute to Phil Lesh” at The Joy Theater.

moe. will return to the road on May 23 for a set at Thornville, Ohio’s Dark Star Jubilee, then race through 22 further shows across the country through the end of the summer. Highlights from this run include bookings at high-profile festivals like All Good Now, Northlands Music & Arts Festival and Mountain Jam Music Festival, as well as co-bill dates with Umphrey’s McGee and Eggy. Tried and true road warriors that they are, The Infamous Stringdusters have their own long haul ahead this summer. The quick-picking quintet will get on stage again on May 16 as part of Aztec, N.M.’s Tico Time Bluegrass Festival, then bring on 29 more performances through the end of August, most of which are from their shared tour with Leftover Salmon and special guests the Kitchen Dwellers.
