The Derek Trucks Band has just finished work on a new album titled Joyful Noise. The CD will be the band’s debut on Columbia Records and is due in stores August 27. Guest vocalists on the record include Solomon Burke, Ruben Blades, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Trucks’ wife, Susan Tedeschi.
The group plays next on June 23 at Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbia, OH opening for the Allman Brothers Band. For the complete summer itinerary, visit the group’s official website.
