The Dirty Dozen Brass Band kicks off its spring tour tonight at the First Energy Berks Jazz Fest in Reading, PA. The itinerary will include dates in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and California as well as an appearance at Suwanee Bound in in Live Oak, Florida on April 19th (with String Cheese Incident and Govt Mule among others). The group will also play an 11-night residency at TwiRoPa Mills as part of Superflys during Jazz Fest Concert Series in New Orleans. Several special guests are expected over the run, which is slated for April 24 May 4. The concerts will also be recorded for a possible future live CD release.
