Yonder Mountain String Band will release its new studio album, Old Hands next Tuesday, June 17. The disc features the words and music of singer-songwriter Benny Burle Galloway. His music so good, its a crime people dont know it, says guitarist Adam Aijala. It makes me feel good to get his music out there. Special guests appearing on the CD include Jerry Douglas, Dirk Powell, Sally VanMeter, Tim O’Brien, Darol Anger, and Casey Driessen.
On June 16th, YMSB will hold several CD listening parties in various cities including Boulder, Madison and San Francisco. The official CD release party will be held June 18at the Telluride Conference Center in Colorado.
