A new festival has been announced for June 18 – 20 at Clinton Lake State Park in Lawrence, Kansas. The inaugural Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival is set to feature more than fifty artists on three stages at a site that offers four hundred acres of wooded land adjacent to a lake. The confirmed performers for the festival, which will take place a week following Bonnaroo, include: Galactic, Particle, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Leftover Salmon, North Mississippi Allstars, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Indigenous, Jazz Mandolin Project, and The Wailers. Early bird tickets will go sale this Friday, with information at www.wakarusafestival.com.
