Jambands.com columnist/Steel Train bassist Evan Winiker is currently in a Los Angeles studio working on his bands second full length album. According to the bassist, the group has spent the past two weeks tracking their instrumental parts, basically all the guitars, bass and drums and is starting to the lay down its vocal parts. Steel Train is prepping 12 new songs for the untitled disc and another pair of compositions for the discs European and Japanese releases. The group will hit the road in July and tour through September, including a handful of dates with longtime pals the Format.
