moe.s Fourth of July weekend plans a brief run, fittingly, through New England. On Thursday the group offered a mammoth three hour show at Rhode Islands Newport Waterfront Festival which featured an almost completely seamless set consisting of Spaz Medicine, Not Coming Down, St. Augustine, Where Does the Time Go? and Dr. Graffenberg. Then, on Friday, the group headlined Hyannis, MAs Cape Cod Melody Tent before closing the weekend with a pair of asterisk heavy shows at New Hampshires Hampton Beach Casino. Saturdays show featured a rare appearance by drummer Vinnie Amico on vocals for the Marshall Tucker Bands Cant You See, while guitarist Al Schnier showed off his chops behind the kit. The evening concluded with a completely acoustic and unplugged version of the Bands The Weight. Finally, last night, local area resident, and Assembly of Dust keyboardist, Nate Wilson jammed on Buster and Y.O.Y. shortly after the group teased such unique themes as Iron Butterflys ‘In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida’ and the Three’s Company and Star Wars themes.
