Umphreys McGees Joel Cummins recently played a few shows as part of Banyans ever-changing lineup. The keyboardist seems to have hit it off with that bands live painter Norton Wisdom, and the paired performers will host an evening of improvisational music and art at Chicagos A Live One this Sunday, March 8. Wisdom first came into the Banyan fold through by way of guitarist Wilco guitarist Nels Cline.

As discussed in a recent site interview, Cline and Wisdom also have a side-project called Stained Radiance and plan to release a DVD in the coming months. Umphreys McGee will appear at Birmingham, ALs Workplay Soundstage this evening.
