Today, Sept. 25, The Terrapin Family Band revealed their plans to celebrate the upcoming holidays with a return to The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, Calif., on  Dec. 10. Notably, the “Grateful Holiday Celebration” will mark the ensemble’s first show at the Golden State venue in over a year.

Serving as the venue’s house band at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue was a mix of seasoned Bay Area musicians. Considered The Terrapin Family Band, many iterations have existed over the years. During the impending event, Grahame Lesh, Jason Crosby, Ross James, Scott Law and Alex Koford will team up while also welcoming special guest Nicki Bluhm as support.

The Terrapin Family Band last performed at The Guild Theatre in 2022 for their Thanksgiving show. The concert welcomed a surprise appearance from Bob Weir and Molly Tuttle after billed performer Peter Rowan had to cancel after testing positive for COVID-19. Koford, the group’s drummer, shared the announcement on his social media earlier this afternoon.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 29, at 12 P.M. Learn more and find tickets here.
