Karina Rykman has confirmed her next New York headlining show. The bassist, who grew up in the city, will return to New York’s Webster Hall on Friday, September 25. Guerilla Toss will supply support duties.
“It’s going to be an evening of epic proportions: bigger band, special guests, special production…we *just may* be celebrating something I can tell you about in…two weeks. More on that very soon,” Rykman, who usually leads a trio, said in a statement. “I’m so beyond excited for this super special hometown throwdown. As a lifelong New Yorker, I can tell you we’re pulling out all the stops for this one. AND we have our dear pals/one of our favorite bands, the mighty Guerilla Toss opening the night. It’s an honor! So, all I can say is…it would mean the world to me if you came! I love you NYC! “
Last fall, Rykman offered a DJ set at Guerilla Toss’ marquee show at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl. Trey Anastasio, who co-produced Rykman’s last studio album, Joyride sat in with the group.
An artist presale for their Webster Hall date starts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10 at 10am EST and will run until Thursday, June 11 at 10pm EST. (Password is CITYKIDS.) The bassist’s previous Webster Hall play took place in May of 2025 and introduced a new babka collaboration with NYC institution Zabar’s, the tie-dye Babkarina.
Rykman’s next scheduled date is at the Flood City Music Festival in Johnstown, PA, which runs July 24-25.
