Railroad Earth have extended its 25th Anniversary Tour. After previously delivering a series of dates that will keep them busy from mid-January through March, the Garden State ensemble has tacked on more appearances slated for the spring and in celebration of their silver jubilee. The new dates coincide with the band’s arrival at Old Settlers Festival on April 18 in Driftwood, Texas.
Following participation in the Lone Star State festival, the band will take their tunes to the East Coast beginning on April 23 at F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Next, the group will turn in an evening on the XL Live stage in Harrisburg, Pa., on April 24, before another festival appearance, this time at MerleFest in Wilkesboro, N.C., on April 25. The group will take a little time off the road, resuming their touring endeavors on May 7 at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, N.C.
Remaining in the region, they will follow up with a concert at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, on May 8, and an ensuing concert the next night, May 9, at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, Mass. On May 10, they’ll play at the famed Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, N.Y. Tickets are on sale now.
