Thundercat has confirmed a slew of new dates. The Distracted AF Tour will take the bassist, born Stephen Bruner, across the U.S. and Canada this fall, kicking off at Miami, FL’s Miami Beach Bandshell on October 2 and coming to a close with a special Holiday Hootenanny concert in Austin, TX on December 11. An eclectic mix of guests will support Thundercat along the way, including Channel Tres (DJ Set), TiaCorine, Fera, 54 Ultra and Kitty Ca$h.

The bassist recently wrapped up some big shows with The Strokes, where he sat in with the New York garage-rock outfit for their 2013 song “Call It Fate, Call It Karma,” off the Comedown Machine album, at Columbia, MD’s Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 27.  Bruner describes collaboration as his “natural habitat” and his new album Distracted, which was released on Brainfeeder, features appearances by WILLOW, A$AP Rocky, The Lemon Twigs and others. Before the fall, Thundercat will perform at Burlington, VT’s Waterfront Park on July 30.
