Widespread Panic keyboardist JoJo Hermann will head to New Orleans next week for a pair of special shows. On Thursday, December 4, the longtime New Orleans aficionado will perform at the city’s classic Tipitina’s as part of the Tunes for Tots benefit. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, who have a rich history with Panic, will anchor the festivities and both Hermann and Trombone Shorty will serve as special guests. The Trombone Shorty Academy is also on the bill. Presented by Trombone Shorty Foundation and Gia Maione Prima Foundation, admission is free with the donation of a new toy. From there, Hermann will head to The Maple Leaf Bar for another charitable gig on Saturday, December 6. The proceeds from that show benefit the Trombone Shorty Foundation, which offers students “a roadmap and focus to pursue their musical passion.” Big Chief Juan Pardo will join Hermann for this show, along with Kirk Joseph, Eddie Christmas and Jake Eckert.

Widespread Panic will close 2025 with gigs at Atlanta, GA’s Fox Theatre from December 29-31. The group will mark its 40th anniversary in February.
