Widespread Panic have announced a two-night engagement in Austin, Texas, as their first US tour dates of 2026. On Feb. 14 and 15 of next year, the jam legends will appear in the Live Music Capitol of the World for a Valentine’s Day double-header at the famed Moody Center. This will be Panic’s first appearance in Austin since their six-show residency at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater side-stage in April 2023, continuing a recent theme of visiting cities that had fallen out of their road rotation.
The new addition to the honored jam sextet’s touring calendar will fall after its two previously announced stands and the return of its signature destination festival. The band is set to appear next for three nights at Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre from Nov. 21-23, then close out a long year on the road with a three-night New Year’s Eve celebration at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from Dec. 29-31. From January 20-24, they’ll fly south for Panic en la Playa Trece, featuring four headline sets from the host band, plus appearances from Circles Around the Sun, Eggy, Sierra Hull, Karina Rykman and the Playa All Stars super-group.
Tickets for Widespread Panic’s Austin shows will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 7 at 10:00 a.m. CT. For more information on the band’s touring itinerary, visit widespreadpanic.com.
Over the weekend, Widespread Panic returned to Savannah, Ga. for a very special Halloween performance. Halloween has long been a staple of the trailblazing Southern jam ensemble’s live calendar, and their third annual Enmarket Arena haunt, following memorable appearances in 2022 and 2023, was a hotly anticipated revival after a year away. For night one, the band appeared in full costumed embrace of an Alice in Wonderland theme, complete with several debut and revived covers. Read more here.
