The Back Porch Festival has confirmed its initial lineup. Held from March 7-9 at 10 venues throughout Northampton, MA, the 11th annual event will feature over 60 artists. So far three events have been confirmed at the Academy of Music Theatre: On Friday, March 7, Back Porch Songwriter night will take place at the venue. The theme will be An All-Star Tribute to Neil Young. Then, on Saturday, March 8, the Bluegrass Spectacular will take place at the same space, bringing together The Travelin’ McCourys, Sam Grisman Project and East Nash Grass. Finally, Lucinda Williams has announced her Back Porch Festival participation with a show set for Sunday, March 9 at the Academy of Music Theatre. The rest of Back Porch’s lineups and participating venues will be announced soon.
