Julien Baker has unveiled a series of shows slated for the fall, with stops in the U.S., U.K. and Canada. The latest announcement follows Baker’s June 14 Kennedy Center performance alongside BANKS and the National Symphony Orchestra, her first show of 2024 and since the end of her tour with boygenius. At the Kennedy Center, Baker sang haunting orchestral renditions of her own “Ziptie,” “Sprained Ankle” and “Claws in Your Back,” arranged by Rob Moose, Alex Jacobsen, and Eric Allen, respectively.

The indie rocker/guitarist is set to kick off her fall tour with three back-to-back performances at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on Sept. 23, 24 and 25, which will be Baker’s first return to the famed Illinois venue since November 2018, when she performed alongside boygenius band member and fellow indie musician Phoebe Bridgers for two evenings on their co-headline tour. Sans Bridgers and boygenius, Baker will then head to Washington, D.C.’ The Atlantis the following weekend, Sept. 27, before heading into All Things Go, where she is set to headline both locations—Columbia, Md.’s Merriweather Post Pavilion and New York’s Forest Hills Stadium—on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29.

Later that week, Baker and her band will head North to Canada for two evenings at Toronto’s The Concert Hall on Oct. 1 and 2 before taking a two-week break. In late October, the singer-songwriter will grace San Francisco’s Bimbo’s 365 Club for three consecutive nights on Oct. 21, 22 and 23, then head down the California coast for two shows at The Bellwether in Los Angeles on Oct. 25 and 26. The following month, Baker will travel across the pond for three shows at EartH in London, Nov. 19-21, to close out the tour and the year, perhaps anticipating the comments of boygenius fans eager for the return of their favorite supergroup, currently on hiatus, Baker clarified that “these will be the only shows of 2024” via social media.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 21, and can be found alongside more information at julienbaker.com. Read on for a full list of Baker’s 2024 tour dates.
