Last night, Bleachers headlined Chicago’s The Fairgrounds at the Salt Shed as part of their From The Studio To The Stage tour. Partway through their set, Bleachers invited out area hero Jeff Tweedy to sing and play guitar on a song. The Wilco frontman emerged for “Margaret,” a song written about Bleachers’ leader Jack Antonoff’s wife Margaret Qualley.

Antonoff and Lana Del Ray co-wrote the song for the latter musician’s 2023 album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. Bleachers are featured guests on the tune. Last night, marked the first time Bleachers had performed the cut live as a full band.

Bleachers will appear in Madison, WI this evening.
