Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have dropped a new trio of tour dates to extend the band’s summer touring schedule into August. Centered in the Northeast, these engagements will bring the renowned jam cover quintet to high-profile stages in Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont for its first performances in the three New England states of 2024. This trio of appearances will also feature a personnel variation, with Jon Shaw–known for work alongside Shakey Graves and Cass McCombs, as well as periodic stints with JRAD–standing in for Dave Dreiwitz on bass.

Following a headline performance at Check, Va.’s Floydfest on July 25, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will hike to the Green Mountains for an Aug. 1 engagement at Shelburne, Vt.’s The Green at Shelburne Museum. Next, on Aug. 2, the group will run to the coast to take the stage at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. After the encore, the ensemble will cover the waterfront down to Boston to close out its trio with an Aug. 3 appearance at Leader Bank Pavilion. An artist presale for this latest batch of dates is live now; use code “Section42Row37Seat21” to secure your tickets.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will perform next in The Big Easy during New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, plotting a three-night run at The Fillmore from May 3-5. For more information on this series and the band’s full 2024 touring schedule, visit joerussosalmostdead.com/.
