Today, Jaime Wyatt has delivered the official music video for “Feel Good,” the title track off her third album, out now via New West. Melding her remarkable talent for storytelling, the musician presents the latest chapter of genre exploration, drenched in a message of self-work, healing, and personal acceptance. Watch here

The visual equalizer dispenses the picturesque Santa Fe, N.M. landscape, a presumed reference to Wyatt’s outlaw country roots, and counters the expected with a vintage-tinged R&B approach, a feature of the newly dropped set. In doing so, the artist nods to genre definers such as Al Green and Otis Redding while acknowledging the southern soul of fellow ingenuities Waylon Jenning and Bobbie Gentry.

The full-length album, produced by Black Pumas’ Adrian Quesada, was described by Wyatt as “It was a labor of love and I knew I needed to finish it but it had to be right. It moves in between keys in a way that I’m very proud of. Lyrically, it is very abstract, as it was written as a tribute to the forgotten people of society.”

In addition to the newly released set and official music video, Wyatt will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Tuesday, November 7, at 7 p.m. local time. During the impending concert, Wyatt joins a roster that includes Tenille Arts, Lauren  Weintraub, We The Kingdom, and Opry members John Conlee and Mike Snider.
